Delete your account

You can permanently delete your Heads Up Board account and its data at any time. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

Delete it now (fastest)

1. Open the app or sign in on the web.
2. Go to Account & settings (the gear icon).
3. In the Delete my account section, type DELETE and confirm.

Can't sign in?

Email risen@risenapp.io from the address on your account with the subject “Delete my Heads Up Board account”. We verify the request and delete the account within 30 days, usually much sooner.

What gets deleted

• Your sign-in and profile (name, email).
• Your membership of any household.
• If you created the household: the household itself, its members, all items, prep steps and class links are deleted with it.
• If someone else created the household: shared items you added are handed to another parent so the rest of the family keeps them; nothing else of yours remains.
• Classes you created as a teacher, and every update posted on them, are deleted.
• Device notification registrations and your reminder preferences.

Backups that may still contain a copy roll off within 30 days. See the privacy policy for how data is handled.
